MASTER PEER

One player opens the room.
Everyone joins the game.

The game world lives with the players.
EdgePlay connects them.

PLAYER↔ MASTER ↔PLAYER

One prompt

Paste this into your AI agent in your game folder

The agent identifies your engine and export target, preserves your controls, rules and assets, then implements and tests the integration with two players.

Make this game online multiplayer with EdgePlay.
Read https://edgeplay.edgesocket.net/llms-full.txt and follow it end to end.
Detect my engine and export target (including Godot Web). Keep the existing game and offline mode.
Run the game simulation on a player-owned master peer, never on EdgePlay or EdgeSocket.

How it works

01 · Open your game

Give the prompt to the AI agent working in your existing project.

02 · Play online

The player opening the room becomes the master peer. Their device runs the game rules.

03 · Invite a friend

Share an invite code or game link. Other players join the same world.

Engines

Godot

One GDScript interface for Web exports and native games. Native targets require the WebRTC extension.

Web

Canvas, Phaser, Three.js, PixiJS or your own engine. Use your existing JavaScript / TypeScript project.

Other engines

For Unity, Unreal and custom engines, the agent builds an adapter from the open protocol. WebRTC support must be verified on the target; dedicated SDKs are not available yet.

FAQ

Where does the game run?

On the device of the player who opens the room. Guests send controls to the master peer and receive the shared game state. EdgePlay and EdgeSocket do not execute game code.

Is everything decentralized?

Game simulation runs on players’ devices. Room coordination and signaling use EdgePlay; connections may use EdgeSocket TURN when direct connections fail.

Does Godot work in a browser too?

Yes. Godot Web exports use browser WebRTC. Desktop and other native targets require a compatible webrtc-native extension.

What if the master peer leaves?

The room closes. Automatic master migration is not available yet; players can create another room.

Do I need to write Go?

No. Keep your existing engine and language. You do not need to run a game server or learn Go.

Will one prompt work identically for every game?

Integration depends on the game and the engine’s networking support. The agent must adapt game rules and test the actual target platform.
